Deception Cybersecurity Pioneer Illusive Networks Adds Linux and Advanced Forensics in Latest Release

NEW YORK AND TEL AVIV, Israel, June 13, 2016 — illusive networks, the leader in Deceptions Everywhere® cybersecurity, today unveiled its newest version, enhanced with Linux support, Advanced Forensics, and featuring Highly Interactive Deceptions to further distract attackers from their targets.

illusive’s new forensics dashboard provides laser focused forensics illuminating the minutes before, during and after an attack. illusive enables defenders to focus on high quality information, as opposed to fishing through terabytes of data, and generate the report in real time.

“Despite perimeter defenses and honeypots, networks remain vulnerable to attacks, making it imperative to detect and stop cyber criminals once they have infiltrated the network,” said Shlomo Touboul, CEO, illusive networks. “illusive networks’ Deceptions Everywhere cybersecurity technology succeeded in many red team testing campaigns done by leading cybersecurity teams, where other technologies fail in thwarting advanced persistent threats.”

Recognizing that many enterprises include Linux for their mission critical infrastructure, illusive now offers Linux support for its Attacker View, Deception Management System, and Forensic reports.

In addition, illusive networks announced it has achievedHP ArcSight Common Event Format (CEF) certification. With the certification, illusive networks customers can receive real-time alerts in HP ArcSight when illusive detects an advanced attack.

illusive networks’ forensics is further enhanced by integrating VirusTotal, an online service that collects information about known viruses, malware, and malicious code.  Information from VirusTotal is compared against the data fromAttacker View, illusive’s sophisticated mapping technology, to determine whether or not the process is suspicious and requires research.
